What Goes Where workshop (Part 2), 1st December 2024: Programme for the Day

‘What Goes Where?’: Community Negotiation workshop Part 2

Date: 1st December 2024

Time: 11 am - 3pm

Venue: Cove Park

Note: There are lifts available for those who may have difficulty getting to the venue and back on the day. Please email developmentofficer@coveandkilcreggancommunity.com if you require a lift on the day. There is a list to add your name available at the Kilcreggan post office if you have trouble with emails.

Programme on the Day:

• The workshop on Sunday, December 1st will open at 11.00am with a summary of what was agreed at the first What Goes Where Workshop.

• Then there will be a brief explanation of how the large number of online suggestions has been rationalised down to a manageable number by an independent researcher.

• The rest of the morning will be spent working in groups, continuing to review the remaining ideas and aspirations on a category by category basis, whilst prioritising the work done by the volunteer groups.

• There will be a refreshment break at a convenient point.

• The early part of the afternoon will summarise all agreed ideas and review any spatial conflicts, combining work from both workshops.

• The session will close at around 3.00pm with an explanation of what happens to the findings in relation to the Local Place Plan process.
